Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into an impactful school-based role supporting students with behavioral needs as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or skilled social worker with behavioral expertise. In this rewarding contract opportunity, you'll collaborate with educational staff and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to provide meaningful interventions for young learners. The assignment runs from ASAP through the second week of June and provides 3.5 hours of focused student interaction per day.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or social work credentials with proven behavioral intervention experience Experience working alongside BCBAs in educational or therapeutic settings Understanding of behavior intervention plans and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Ability to effectively document, implement, and report on individualized goals Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with students, families, and school professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention strategies under BCBA supervision to support student success Directly support students in classroom and 1:1 settings, fostering positive behavioral change Accurately collect and document data to inform progress and adjustments to plans Collaborate with educational teams, sharing observations and participating in meetings as needed Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment for all students You'll find this role especially fulfilling if you thrive in fast-paced school environments and want to make a concrete difference before summer break.
