Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting a dedicated Autism Program team. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced RBTs passionate about working with pediatric and elementary-aged students, particularly those who thrive in environments where their skills in behavioral interventions and data collection are valued.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required. Previous experience in school and pediatric/elementary settings is strongly preferred. Confident in supporting students requiring physical intervention strategies. Skilled at accurately collecting, organizing, and reporting classroom behavioral data. Willingness to participate in all aspects of student care, including bathroom duties (toileting/diapering/wiping). Capable of consistent onsite attendance for the full duration of the summer program schedule. Reliable transportation to assigned schools.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct behavioral support to students attending the Autism Program Summer services. Implement individualized plans and interventions under the supervision of program specialists. Collect and document behavioral data accurately and in real time. Respond professionally and compassionately to student needs, including physical interventions and personal care. Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and other RBTs to create a supportive classroom environment. Attend required professional development and training days before summer session begins. This role includes a clear summer schedule, allowing you to plan your time confidently: PD Days on June 23-24 (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Summer Program:
