Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract An immediate opportunity awaits a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students within a welcoming educational environment near Middletown, DE. This contract position spans six weeks, with a possible extension, and offers the chance to work closely with two siblings requiring compassionate behavioral and data-driven support. In this role, you'll make a vital difference by providing one-on-one behavioral support for students, working approximately 20 hours per week. Your day will be varied and rewarding as you collaborate closely with school staff and contribute valuable data to inform ongoing strategies for student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Holds a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience in school settings or with pediatric clients preferred Skilled in collecting, documenting, and analyzing behavior data Comfortable working collaboratively with school teams and families Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Ready to start as soon as possible
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavior intervention services to two students (siblings) Accurately record and report behavioral data as requested by the district Implement individualized behavior support plans under BCBA supervision Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions Communicate progress and observations with supervisory staff as needed Ensure the well-being, safety, and positive experience of students throughout each session If you're passionate about supporting students' growth and making a positive impact within a school community, this short-term contract offers a fulfilling opportunity to showcase your expertise as an RBT.
