Job Description

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Exceptional Therapies Exceptional Therapies i is looking for motivated individuals to take on a part-time position with potential for Full Time
  • working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in our office, or in home or school setting.
This position uses techniques from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and focuses on teaching communication, social, and adaptive skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to create and maintain a positive therapeutic environment
  • Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of client information
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to collect accurate data
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
