Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract A unique opportunity awaits for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to bring expertise and energy to a contract position serving early childhood and elementary students (PK-5). This role spans an engaging academic year schedule, starting August 20th and concluding June 11th, with 37.5 hours each week dedicated to making a meaningful impact in students' lives.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active BCBA certification required Previous experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students preferred Strong skills in conducting behavioral assessments and designing intervention plans Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and families Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based consultation Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavioral assessments to identify student needs Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans for a caseload of approximately 15 students Support teachers, staff, and families with consultation, coaching, and resources for effective behavior management Collaborate actively during IEP and Evaluation Summary Report (ESR) meetings, contributing expertise for the best student outcomes Foster teamwork with related service providers and school administration to promote student behavioral, social, and academic growth Maintain accurate documentation and proactive communication with all stakeholders
