Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Take the opportunity to make a positive impact by supporting students with significant cognitive needs in a K-8 educational setting. This contract position offers a chance to work in a collaborative, specialized environment, focusing on behavioral oversight and program development for the Meadowood Program.
Key Qualifications:
Active Delaware BCBA licensure required Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred Demonstrated expertise working with students who have moderate to severe cognitive abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Capacity to design, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral plans Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing behavioral assessments, develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs Collaborate closely with teaching staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the creation and revision of student plans Offer expert guidance, modeling, and training in behavioral techniques for team members Collect, monitor, and analyze student progress data to continually adjust programs Engage students in supporting, strengths-based behavioral change Remain on-site during program hours to ensure immediate availability for staff and students This full-time opportunity runs through June 2026, with a Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
