Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to an assigned student throughout the school day. Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies based on the student's individual needs. Assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support. Collect and document behavioral data to monitor student progress. Utilize appropriate behavior management and de-escalation techniques. Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, special education staff, and other members of the educational team. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. Delaware Paraeducator Permit/Certification required. Previous experience working with students with behavioral or special education needs preferred. Comfortable providing consistent 1:1 student support.
