Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity awaits a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) ready to support young learners in a dynamic early childhood and elementary school setting. This position begins August 20th and extends through June 11th, providing a full academic year to make a meaningful impact on students from Pre-K to 5th grade. Based near Smyrna, DE, you'll play a crucial role in driving positive behavioral, social, and educational outcomes for a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification Successful experience conducting behavioral assessments in school environments Expertise in designing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans History of providing effective consultation and coaching to educational staff Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with families, multidisciplinary teams, and participating in IEP/ESR meetings Background in early childhood or elementary school settings is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and functional behavior analyses Develop individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs Provide continuous consultation and direct coaching to classroom teachers and support staff Collaborate with parents, service providers, and school teams to ensure coordinated care and effective interventions Participate actively in IEP and ESR meetings, offering expertise and recommendations on student needs and progress Document and monitor intervention effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal student success With one opening available, this is the ideal position for a motivated BCBA ready to be a valued resource for both students and staff.
