ENTRY LEVEL
Registered Behavior Technician and applicants who are Interested in becoming a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team! At learning Without Limits, we have an out of the box approach encompassing Discrete Trial Training, Functional Communication Training, Life and Social Skills as well as provide home school education tutoring services performed by a certified teacher. We offer paid time off, free training, and room for advancements within the company. What is a Registered Behavior Technician? Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT's) are certified behavior therapists that work with children ranging in autism spectrum disorders to other developmental disabilities. Working as an RBT, you will perform duties outlined by A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help shape the development of your clients. Your role is to facilitate communication, implement behavior plans, and change lives one step at a time! Accepting new RBT's or in process applicants only.
Responsibilities:
Work 1:1 or in group settings with clients Monitor and report changes in client symptoms or behaviors Communicate and collaborate with professionals on staff and those included in the clients behavior plan Record and Maintain accurate data collection
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with the special needs population preferred Ability to build rapport with clients as well as parents/caregivers! Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in stressful situations with clients and families Must be able to lift 50lbs
