Job Summary The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs in a variety of settings. RBTs work collaboratively with our entire clinical team to ensure treatment is effective and individualized to each patient, following the plans written by the case supervisors (BCBAs/BCaBAs). RBTs will provide direct ABA therapy to patients, working on communication, socialization, problem behaviors, and so much more. Responsibilities and Duties Provide direct therapy to individuals in a variety of settings (e.g. home, school, clinic, community, etc.) Collect, gather, and enter data as per the behavior plan and acquisition programs Meet with case supervisor as required to collaborate and for ongoing training and development Meet with team to collaborate and discuss cases assigned Implement behavior plans and skill acquisition programs as developed and written by the case supervisor Assist with functional behavior assessments and skills assessments Attend staff meetings Attend ongoing training and professional development Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills RBT Certification Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a cleared Level-2 Background check Must have a High School Diploma Must have CPR certification Must have flexible availability Must have a valid driver license Must be willing to commute to different client locations Must have good written and verbal communication skills in the English language Written and spoken English fluency is a MUST; bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) is a plus
