Job Overview Developmental and Behavioral Specialists is a small company owned and operated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are seeking a certified RBT to join our team! We currently have two cases available for one RBT. Both cases are located home in Davenport, FL. Training will be paid at your regular hourly rate and will be provided by the lead BCBA on the cases, with regular supervision. We focus primarily on verbal behavior, functional communication, teaching appropriate replacement behaviors, and behavior intervention procedures.

RBT Responsibilities:

Provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors. Establishes & maintains therapeutic relationship by pairing self as a reinforcer. Closely follows treatment goals and interventions outlined in each client's individualized behavior plan. Accurately records data on skill acquisition targets, mand frequency, and behavior deceleration. Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills. Communicates effectively with lead analyst and parents/stakeholders regarding client progress. An ideal RBT candidate will... Student analysts seeking fieldwork opportunities are also encouraged to apply! As a student analyst at DBS, you will have a variety of opportunities to gain valuable experience while earning your bachelor's (BCaBA) or master's (BCBA) degree. Our student analysts are program leads for several clients, meaning they handle all of the programming for a small caseload of clients. We use the ABLLS-R curriculum. Student analysts will also have opportunities to do initial assessments, conduct functional analyses, and write behavior plans under the close supervision of our BCBAs. Along with the RBT duties listed above, an ideal student analyst candidate will... Be enrolled in their bachelor's or master's degree in applied behavioral analysis (Required) Be timely and efficient with programming and other fieldwork tasks Communicate effectively with the BCBAs, caregivers, stakeholders, and the RBTs on each client's team Do research on interventions and functionally-equivalent replacement behaviors as necessary for each client Assist in training new behavior technicians in basic ABA principles Uphold the ethics code diligently Be a role model for other RBTs!

Starting Salary Range:
