The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by supporting their growth, skill development, and independence through evidence-based interventions. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, patient care, and working within a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and communication to promote independence. Use behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation, including progress notes and care plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions across settings. Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care and confidentiality. Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies tailored to individual needs. Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and basic medical terminology. Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support clients' growth and well-being.
