In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized behavior plans. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding to promote independence and enhance quality of life Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring fidelity to established care plans Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to provide updates on progress and address concerns Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and privacy Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, ethical standards, and the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to uphold professional integrity Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorders, is highly preferred Home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting children with disabilities is advantageous Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing treatment plans is desirable Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodiverse populations enhances your effectiveness in this role Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement are essential Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health or developmental disorders is a plus Join us in creating a positive difference!
