Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking to hire an entry level Behavior Technician that is wanting to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our amazing team in Fort Walton Beach! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, will be a team player, will have a desire to help others succeed, will implement evidenced based interventions developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), will accept feedback given by BCBA, and will bring a positive and supportive attitude to support the client's we serve.Responsibilities:
- Complete 40 Hour RBT Training Course
- Complete TVA in-center training requirements
Pass RBT Certification Examination Qualifications:
- Experience or interest in working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting individuals with special needs
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment, and medical documentation is a plus Joining our team as an Entry Level Behavior Technician offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with special needs while gaining valuable experience in the field of applied behavior analysis.
