Job Description

RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Unique Niche Behavior Center Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with behavioral challenges, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support to clients and their families, promoting positive behavioral changes, and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA. Assist clients in developing and improving social skills, communication, and daily living skills. Monitor client progress and document behavioral data accurately in medical records. Provide support in behavior management strategies to help clients cope with challenging behaviors. Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies for success. Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to medical documentation standards. Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral therapy. Qualifications Experience or education in special education, behavioral health, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for assisting individuals with behavioral challenges. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients and their families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when needed.
