Registered Behavior Technician Inspire Development ABA Lake Worth, FL Job Details Part-time $24 - $29 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications RBT Certification Working with individuals with developmental disabilities Assisting with ADLs Working with children Patient interaction Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with clients, primarily children, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism through effective behavioral therapy techniques. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve quality of life. Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions. Provide support in behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors. Engage in teaching opportunities that promote skill acquisition in social, communication, and daily living skills. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and medical records, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure continuity of care and effective communication regarding client progress. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and special education. Skills Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation processes, and care plan development. Ability to collect data accurately and analyze it for reporting purposes. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of behavior management strategies tailored for individuals with behavioral health needs.
