Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where your passion for behavioral health and dedication to helping children with developmental disabilities will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support children with autism and other developmental challenges. You will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote skill development, independence, and improved quality of life. Duties Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on approved care plans, utilizing ABA techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress during sessions to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective intervention strategies Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines, fostering independence Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts and team members to develop and update personalized care plans aligned with each child's needs Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Support behavioral health goals by implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive behaviors and reduce maladaptive behaviors Engage with children in a patient-centered manner, creating a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning and growth Qualifications Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification; experience working with children preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and behavior management principles Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and confidentiality requirements under HIPAA Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions and maintain meticulous medical records Compassionate approach to working with children; patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are essential Background in special education or teaching is a plus; familiarity with medical care plans is advantageous Join us in empowering children to reach their full potential through innovative behavioral therapies! $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
