Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health. We currently have an afternoon case available (in the Fontainebleau area) with a start time of either 2:00 PM or 3:30 PM. As an RBT, you will work closely with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role is vital in helping clients develop essential skills, improve behavior management, and enhance their overall quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis and special education. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and analyze data on client progress, behavior patterns, and skill acquisition to inform ongoing treatment strategies. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and communication skills, promoting independence. Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement techniques. Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with BCBA supervisors and team members to adapt interventions as needed for optimal client outcomes. Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages growth, patience, and respect for each individual's unique needs. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to teach effectively in a one-on-one setting are essential. A compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience to support clients through behavioral challenges. Join us in empowering individuals to reach their full potential! This role offers a rewarding career path in behavioral health where your dedication directly impacts lives every day.
