Behavior Technician Trainee

Job Summary We are looking to hire an entry level Behavior Technician that is looking to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our amazing team at our Navarre, FL clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, will be a team player, will have a desire to help others succeed, will implement evidenced based interventions developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), will accept feedback given by BCBA, and will bring a positive and supportive attitude to support the client's we serve. Previous experience working with children is a PLUS! Responsibilities Complete 40 Hour RBT Training Course Complete TVA in-center training requirements Pass RBT Certification Examination Qualifications Experience or interest in working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting individuals with special needs Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment, and medical documentation is a plus Joining our team as an Entry Level Behavior Technician offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with special needs while gaining valuable experience in the field of applied behavior analysis.
