Registered Behavior Technician Better Behavior Services North Lauderdale, FL Job Details Full-time | Contract From $28 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Behavioral interventions RBT Certification Student behavioral support Implementing behavioral health therapy programs Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for children Full Job Description Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-school and Home support for a case within Miami-Dade/Broward County Public Schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior therapy and meet all required credentials to begin work immediately.
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a school setting Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors to support student success Maintain professionalism and adhere to all ethical and clinical standards Ensure timely communication and documentation
Requirements:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Minimum 1 year of experience working as an RBT Active Medicaid Provider ID (required) Valid Broward/Miami-Dade Schools badge (must be current) All in-services must be completed and up to date Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently within a school environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in school-based ABA therapy Familiarity with County school systems and procedures
