Job Description

Position Overview:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing individualized services to Tribal children and youth with special health care needs referred to the Integrative Health Children's Center for Diagnostics & Therapy (CCDT) Program of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual implements behavior intervention plans to address children's needs; gathers behavior reduction and replacement skill data and provides one on one treatment-based therapy in the home or school under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The incumbent also supports the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Preschool Program by assisting teachers in developing strategies to reinforce learning materials based on each child's individual needs, interests, and abilities, while supervising students and providing additional support to those who require extra help.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Child Development is preferred. Must have Registered Behavior Technician certification upon date of hire. Individual must pass the annual Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Competency Assessment, complete renewal, receive ongoing supervision and comply with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board's ethical requirements related to RBT's. Forty-five (45) hours of Childcare Regulation Course and Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is required, or ability to complete within one (1) year of employment. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with preschool children or in an education program; or completion of a vocational/technical program in child guidance or childcare is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all STOF's Reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$23.56 - $29.00 per hour
