Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a difference in K-12 educational settings! This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with educators across 5-7 schools, focusing on supporting self-contained programs. You'll play a pivotal role, providing expert recommendations, modeling strategies, and enhancing learning environments for students and staff. In this itinerant, on-site position, you will not be responsible for off-site or virtual services—your expertise will be delivered directly across various campuses. You'll assist with data collection, observe classrooms, help develop Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and work closely with teachers to foster positive behavioral change and effective instructional practices.

Qualifications:

Current BCBA certification and licensure required Experience or strong interest in supporting K-12 students in self-contained settings Exceptional communication and organizational skills Ability to travel between assigned schools Previous fingerprinting with FL school districts preferred; additional background checks or verifications may be required

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers and support staff in self-contained programs Conduct classroom observations and model effective behavioral interventions Guide educators on data collection and interpretation Assist in developing and implementing FBAs and behavioral supports Provide ongoing training and resources for staff
