Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting the educational community as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll collaborate extensively with self-contained PreK programs, providing expert support, guidance, and strategies to teachers across multiple school sites. This onsite-only, itinerant assignment offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while working in partnership with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Current, active BCBA licensure Relevant experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Ability to support multiple schools (anticipated 5-7 locations; assignments finalized prior to starting) Expertise in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), data collection, and modeling behavioral strategies to staff Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Candidates must complete fingerprints for background clearance; if prior prints are on file through the AHCA Clearinghouse, verification documentation will be required
Primary Responsibilities:
Consult with educators and staff within PreK self-contained programs Provide behavior analytic expertise including observation, data collection, and recommendations for individualized student support Develop, review, and assist with implementation of FBAs and positive support plans Model best practices and evidence-based strategies for classroom teachers Assist in the ongoing evaluation and adaptation of behavioral supports Travel between assigned schools to ensure continuity and quality of services The contract term runs from August 10, 2026 to May 28, 2027, offering full-time hours at 35 hours weekly (7 hours per day).
