Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a consistent, reliable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing ABA team in the St. Johns, St. Augustine, South Jacksonville and Hastings areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge in working with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality, data-driven behavioral intervention. In this role, the RBT will implement individualized treatment plans created and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based ABA interventions, collecting accurate data, assisting with skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs, and supporting learners across home, school, and community environments. Ongoing collaboration with families, caregivers, educators, and supervising clinicians is essential to ensure consistent, client-centered care and meaningful progress. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA programs under BCBA supervision. Provide 1:1 therapy in home, school, and community settings. Run skill-building programs and follow behavior intervention plans. Collect accurate data on behaviors and skill acquisition. Maintain detailed session notes and follow HIPAA guidelines. Communicate professionally with BCBA, caregivers, and team members. Follow prompting, reinforcement, and crisis-prevention procedures as trained. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. Attend supervision, trainings, and required professional development. Uphold BACB ethical standards and company policies. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred). Active RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred). Ability to follow ABA treatment plans and BCBA direction consistently. Strong communication skills and professional demeanor. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to collect accurate data and maintain detailed documentation. Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 25 lbs, and manage occasional challenging behaviors. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between client locations.
