Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a vital role in transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to promote positive behavior change and skill development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Your dedication will support clients in achieving greater independence and improved quality of life through compassionate care and tailored strategies. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines Support teaching sessions that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and progress updates Promote a safe environment by managing behavior effectively and implementing behavior management techniques Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Ability to assist with ADLs and support patient care in a compassionate manner Proficiency in data collection methods to track behavioral progress accurately Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Effective teaching skills to facilitate skill acquisition and positive behavior change Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to empowering individuals through evidence-based practices. $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
