Registered Behavior Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health and therapy. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clients' goals. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines. Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions to inform ongoing treatment plans. Support teaching and skill acquisition by reinforcing positive behaviors and guiding clients through structured learning activities. Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy. Collaborate with team members to develop tailored behavior management strategies that promote safety and well-being. Foster a supportive environment that encourages growth, independence, and confidence for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to follow detailed care plans and accurately collect behavioral data during sessions. Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in helping individuals with autism or other special needs achieve their full potential. Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; certification as an RBT is required or in progress. Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed to support client schedules. Join us in making a difference!
