Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), supporting clients in achieving their developmental and behavioral goals. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans and behavioral interventions based on established ABA principles to support clients' developmental progress. Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence. Support clients in developing communication, social, and self-care skills through engaging teaching strategies. Maintain detailed medical documentation, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards. Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in care plans and behavioral management strategies. Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering compassionate patient care in home or clinical settings. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods. Prior experience working with children in educational or home-based environments is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior support plans effectively. Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a professional approach to patient care.
