  • $24 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications RBT Certification High school diploma or GED Working with children Bachelor's degree Direct support Full Job Description Job Overview Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Sanger and Associates seeks to add a behavior technician to our team of caring ABA professionals.
We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys working with children, primarily children with autism. The primary responsibilities of the behavior technician are to implement the client specific behavior support and treatment plan, collect data, and carry out day-to-day duties as specified by administration. Behavior technician must be compassionate and professional when interacting with caregivers and colleagues, and work well independently. The behavior technician reports directly to their supervisor who may be BCaBA or BCBA. Qualifications for the behavior technician are a minimum of a high school diploma with a bachelor's degree or higher preferred, and a demonstrated interest in human services. An existing Medicaid provider number and RBT certificate is preferred. Pay is competitive. Hired RBT must wait until the credentialing process with Medicaid is completed. This could take up to 60 days until work can beign.

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Assist in developing appropriate social and communication skills in clients
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide feedback on client progress
  • Educate and support families on implementing behavior strategies at home Experience
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques
  • Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
