Job Description
Heartlinks ABA GA is seeking an AMHARIC Speaking Registered Behavior Technician to provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities in home, clinic, school, and community settings. Under BCBA supervision, you will deliver 1:1 interventions, implement behavior and skill acquisition plans, and collect detailed session data. You will use Amharic and English to support families, promote functional communication, and ensure culturally responsive care. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans Collect and record accurate session data and progress notes Use Amharic and English to support clients and families culturally and linguistically Follow crisis prevention, safety, and behavior management protocols Collaborate with BCBAs and clinical team during trainings and team meetings Communicate session updates and progress to supervisors and caregivers Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality Travel to home, clinic, school, and community-based sessions as assigned Participate in ongoing training to build ABA and RBT competencies Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation RBT data collection and documentation Behavior intervention plan implementation Skill acquisition programming Use of ABA data software/tools Functional communication training Crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques Basic child development knowledge HIPAA and client confidentiality compliance AMHARIC-English bilingual communication
