This is a full-time, contract opportunity supporting a student 1:1 in a dedicated GNETS classroom environment. Your skills in ABA principles, coupled with your understanding of behavioral management, can help create brighter outcomes for students with complex needs. Desired Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working in a school or educational setting strongly preferred Proven background in implementing behavior intervention plans Comfortable and competent in de-escalating and managing aggressive behaviors Strong communication skills-able to work effectively with teachers, therapists, and families Ability to maintain professionalism and calm under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 behavioral support to a student throughout the school day (8:00 am-3:00 pm, 35 hours per week) Execute personalized interventions under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Gather and document data to inform the student's progress and adapt support plans Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment Model behavioral strategies and support for classroom staff as needed Take this chance to contribute your specialized skills to a team committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
