This position utilizes teaching, leadership, coaching, supervisory, and consulting skills established for the purpose of empowering students to reach a meaningful future.
Position:
Behavior Specialist Position Purpose:
The Behavior Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting students with behavioral, social, and learning challenges. Their primary focus is applying the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to improve student behavior and learning outcomes. This includes conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, providing direct and indirect student support, providing training to staff, collaborating with school teams and families, and monitoring progress.

Masters degree or higher in education, psychology, behavior analysis or related field, Preferred Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA), hold or be eligible for required certification, successful teaching experience preferred Alternatives to the above as the Pioneer RESA Board may find appropriate/acceptable
