RBT Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist Shweet Behavior, LLC Decatur, GA Job Details Part-time $25 - $35 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Qualifications RBT Certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Teamwork High school diploma or GED Experience working with children Full Job Description Company Description Client involvement is at the heart of effective treatment. At Shweet Behavior, fostering autonomy and self-advocacy is one of our core values. We are committed to providing ethical, compassionate care built on a strong, trusting relationship between client and provider. The absence of a "no" is not the same as consent—and we believe that every individual, regardless of communication style, deserves to have their boundaries respected. ABA therapy is most effective when it is rooted in open, nonjudgmental communication. Our goal is not to change who a person is, but to support meaningful behavior change that enhances their quality of life. If a child withdraws assent—whether through crying, running away, hitting, or other non-verbal signals—we listen. We respond. We adapt. We focus on teaching functional communication that supports self-advocacy and empowers the child to express their needs. At Shweet Behavior, we believe learning should be joyful and that gaining new skills should feel safe, positive, and engaging. We do not force compliance. We respect each child's voice and adjust our approach to meet them where they are.
