Job Description

Heartlinks ABA GA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide part-time ABA therapy to children with autism in our Georgia service area. In this role, you will deliver 1:1 sessions following BCBA treatment plans, using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. You will collect accurate data, maintain detailed session notes, and collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs and families. This mission-driven position offers the opportunity to build strong clinical ABA skills, work within a supportive team, and make a meaningful impact on children and their caregivers through compassionate, high-quality care. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children following BCBA-developed treatment plans Implement behavior intervention strategies and teaching procedures Collect accurate, real-time behavior and skill acquisition data Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in line with clinical standards Collaborate with supervising BCBAs and participate in team meetings Communicate professionally with families and caregivers about session activities Follow behavior support and safety protocols, including de-escalation strategies Adhere to ethical, confidentiality, and compliance requirements Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Behavior data collection and graphing Behavior intervention plan implementation Reinforcement and prompting procedures Functional communication training support Crisis prevention and de-escalation Collaboration with BCBAs and caregivers HIPAA and client confidentiality compliance Session documentation and clinical note writing
