Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions accurately and consistently Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence Support teaching of communication, social skills, and functional life skills through engaging activities Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly Collaborate with supervisors and team members to modify strategies based on data and client needs Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, behavior management techniques, and medical terminology Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles is highly desirable Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records are essential Experience assisting with ADLs or providing patient care in a healthcare or educational setting is a plus Familiarity with special education environments or teaching experience can enhance effectiveness in this role Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members while demonstrating patience and empathy A valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification is required within the onboarding period Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive! Pay:
$27.38 - $32.98 per hour
