Job Description

Heartlinks ABA GA seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to provide on-site ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities. In this Monday-Friday evening role (5-8 pm), you will deliver 1:1 sessions in home, clinic, or community settings, implementing BCBA-designed treatment plans to build communication, social, and daily living skills. Responsibilities include accurate data collection, consistent use of behavior strategies, clear communication with families, and adherence to ethical and safety standards in a compassionate, mission-driven team environment. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism following BCBA treatment plans Collect accurate, real-time behavior and skill acquisition data each session Implement behavior intervention strategies and reinforcement procedures safely and consistently Support functional communication, daily living, and social skills development Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members on goals and progress Maintain timely, complete, and confidential session notes and documentation Follow all clinical, ethical, and safety guidelines and participate in ongoing training Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Behavior data collection and graphing Behavior intervention plan implementation Functional communication training Use of reinforcement strategies Crisis prevention and de-escalation Session documentation and reporting Collaboration with BCBAs and caregivers Basic computer and EMR documentation skills
