In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to promote meaningful progress through evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster positive behavior change, support independence, and enhance quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while developing your skills in behavioral health and special education. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions with precision and attention to detail Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and communication skills development Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively Support clients during therapy sessions in various settings, including homes, clinics, or community environments Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations during data collection and documentation Collaborate with team members to update care plans and ensure consistency in behavioral management approaches Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques, behavior management strategies, and data collection methods is highly desirable Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and understanding of care plans enhances your ability to support clients effectively Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude are essential traits for success in this energetic and rewarding role Join us in empowering individuals to reach their full potential through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies!
