As a School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Algonquin, IL , your days will include:
Your Days Will Include:
Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Providing consultation and coaching to teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and school staff on evidence-based behavioral strategies Monitoring student progress, analyzing behavioral data, and adjusting interventions to maximize student success Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, administrators, and families to support positive educational outcomes Conducting classroom observations and providing recommendations to improve behavioral supports Assisting with crisis intervention planning and implementation when appropriate Ensuring compliance with IDEA, Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requirements, and district policies regarding behavioral services Maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and progress monitoring records

K-12th grade, district wide support Successful Candidates Possess Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred but not required Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions and positive behavior supports within a school setting Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply Authorization to work in the United States Why Navra?
