Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students with complex needs in a high school and transition setting. This contract-based opportunity in the Arlington Heights area offers full-time hours, from 7:30am to 3:00pm during the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will work directly with high school-aged and transition students, leveraging your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in assistive technology and thrives working with individuals who present with diverse and sometimes significant support needs.
Key Qualifications:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Extensive hands-on experience with assistive technology Demonstrated proficiency supporting students with complex needs Comfort and experience working with high school and transition-aged populations Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Responsibilities include: Conducting behavioral assessments and developing function-based intervention plans Collaborating with educators, related service providers, and families Training and supporting school staff in the implementation of strategies and use of assistive technology Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for ongoing progress monitoring Adjusting interventions to maximize student engagement, independence, and skill acquisition If you're a BCBA who is passionate about meaningful, student-centered support and eager to work in an innovative, collaborative school environment, this could be the ideal fit.
