Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral assessment, intervention, consultation, and program development services for high school and transition-aged students (ages 14-22) with complex learning, behavioral, communication, and developmental needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting students with significant disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and complex communication needs, as well as expertise in the implementation of assistive technology (AT) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, educators, related service providers, and community agencies to promote meaningful educational, vocational, social, and independent living outcomes.
Some Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), skill assessments, and other behavior analytic evaluations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results. Provide direct and indirect behavior analytic services to students with complex educational and behavioral needs. Support transition planning and programming for post-secondary education, employment, community participation, and independent living. Collaborate with special education teams, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and administrators. Utilize evidence-based ABA methodologies to improve communication, adaptive behavior, social skills, vocational readiness, and self-determination. Provide training and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and support staff regarding behavioral strategies and intervention implementation. Candidates must possess all qualifications necessary to practice as a BCBA in
Illinois:
Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Certification and Licensure Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Active Illinois licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment. Compliance with all continuing education requirements necessary to maintain BCBA certification and Illinois licensure. Compensation for this position ranges from $48.12 to $68.12.
