Job Description

Behavior Technician Elevated Therapeutics Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, hygiene, and mealtime support
  • Work one-on-one with individuals to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
  • Collect and record data on individual progress and behavior
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify behavior plans as needed
  • Follow all medical documentation protocols and maintain accurate records
  • Provide behavioral therapy in accordance with individualized treatment plans
  • Support individuals in educational settings, including special education classrooms
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
  • Ability to follow medical records protocols and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with children
  • Do not need to be an RBT to start, but completion of course and test within 60 days of hiring
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
