Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career by working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year. This role offers the flexibility to choose either full-time or part-time hours, all in an on-site school environment near Cicero, IL. The position begins August 11th or 12th and runs through May 28th, with adjustments possible for emergency days. In this contract opportunity, you'll play a pivotal role providing expert behavioral support to students, collaborating with educational teams, and ensuring the success of district initiatives. You'll have a diverse impact across the school community while working alongside Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to develop and implement effective strategies.
Key Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Proven experience in a school setting or with school-aged populations Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills Excellent organizational abilities Experience supervising and supporting RBTs preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough behavioral assessments for students as assigned Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Monitor, document, and analyze student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians, providing guidance and feedback Offer district-wide assistance as needs arise, collaborating closely with staff and administration Participate in meetings and provide training for school personnel as required
Schedule:
School hours are 8:10 AM to 3:15 PM (Monday-Friday) Extended hours on Wednesdays until 4:15 PM Flexible scheduling available (part-time or full-time options) This is your chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while partnering with dedicated professionals.
