Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students through behavioral analysis services in a dynamic, collaborative educational setting for the upcoming academic year. Three positions are available to serve various regions, allowing you to select a coverage area that aligns with your interests: East Aurora, Algonquin/Carpentersville/Hampshire, or an itinerant assignment spanning several districts. The role runs from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with flexible scheduling for both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time availability.
Key Requirements and Desired Experience:
Active BCBA certification through BACB (national requirement) IDFPR Behavior Analyst Certification required Experience providing behavioral services in school-based settings highly preferred Enthusiasm for working across K-12 grade levels, adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working alongside educators, support staff, and families Self-motivated and adaptable, especially for those interested in itinerant responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop data-driven intervention plans Support implementation of positive behavior supports at the student, classroom, and program levels Consult with teachers, administrators, and instructional staff to ensure fidelity and effectiveness of plans Provide training and ongoing professional development in behavioral best practices Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports Travel within the selected coverage region as needed Your impact will be amplified by a competitive hourly compensation in the range of $45.75 to $58.75, reflecting your expertise and commitment to high-quality behavioral services.
