Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) eager to make a meaningful impact in school settings. We're seeking three contract BCBAs to provide services across a diverse educational landscape, serving K-12 students from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to collaborate with school teams across multiple communities. Flexible scheduling accommodates both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time professionals. Locations span several districts; specific needs include one BCBA in the East Aurora area, another for Algonquin, Carpentersville, and Hampshire, and a third providing itinerant support to a few districts.
Key Qualifications:
Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Active IDFPR Behavior Analyst certification (PEL not required) Experience working in educational or pediatric settings is strongly preferred Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with school teams, students, and families Adaptability and comfort navigating multiple sites or schools
Role Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students K-12 Conduct functional behavior assessments and collaborate with IEP teams Offer consultation and training to school staff on positive behavior supports Observe students in classrooms, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed Communicate regularly with educators and caregivers to promote student success Provide itinerant or site-based services depending on assignment Compensation for these positions ranges from $45.75 to $58.75 per hour, based on experience and assignment.
