Emergent Learning Centers Naperville Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) /
Behavior Technician Job Summary:
We are looking for a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 and small group ABA therapy for individuals with autism and related disabilities. You'll follow behavior and treatment plans to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors while assisting with caregiver training.
Hours :
We are looking for BT's and RBT's with part time, evening availability (3:30-6:30 pm).
Responsibilities:
Implement ABA therapy sessions in homes, schools, and clinics. Follow treatment plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. Assist BCBAs in caregiver training. Collect and input data daily. Maintain ethical and professional conduct. Ensure client safety and confidentiality. Attend supervision meetings and training.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (no experience required). Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
Additional Info:
Must be willing to complete RBT certification if you do not already hold one (company reimburses first exam attempt). Work settings may include center, home, school, and community locations. Exposure to challenging behaviors and bodily fluids may occur (protective equipment provided). Performance evaluations occur regularly, with a formal review every 6 months.
