Behavioral Specialist / BCBA Tazewell-Mason Counties Special Education Association Pekin, IL Job Details Full-time $67,000 - $75,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Vision insurance Professional development assistance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Collaboration with other professionals for student support Working with children with disabilities Full Job Description The Behavior Intervention Specialist will provide support to students, educational teams and families of students with significant behavioral deficits associated with Autism, Emotional Disorders, Health Impairments and other disabilities that may impede the student's ability to function in the school setting.
Qualifications:
Hold a registered, valid Illinois LBS1/PEL or be willing to obtain BCBA or Behavior Intervention Specialist preferred Experience working with students with autism, social emotional disabilities, and other related abilities that may require behavior management, language enrichment, intensive sensory supports, or a highly structured classroom. Strong communication and collaboration skills for consultation with team members.
Pay:
$67,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
