Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)- Full-time IN CLINIC

In this role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of licensed behavior analysts, supporting children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect accurate data on client progress during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment planning. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines. Support teaching and learning activities tailored to each child's needs, fostering communication, social skills, and independence. Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including care plans, progress notes, and behavioral records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with supervising behavior analysts and team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment strategies. Create a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive behavior management while respecting each child's individual needs. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies effectively. Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical recordkeeping standards. Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on behavioral health and behavior management. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, and team members in a clinical setting.
