Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in the Indianapolis area on a part-time basis. This role involves providing high-quality behavioral therapy services to children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis, experience working with children, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals through evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce problematic behaviors Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to foster independence Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies tailored to their needs Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in accordance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervisors, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care and effective communication Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to behavioral health and patient care Skills Experience with behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA) Prior work with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques Ability to collect and analyze data accurately for progress tracking Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and care plans related to behavioral health Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support individuals with diverse needs Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact through specialized behavioral health services. Pay:
