Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients develop essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Duties
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients
  • Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
  • Assist in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation processes
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide feedback on client progress
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
  • Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills and modify behaviors
  • Work closely with individuals with autism spectrum disorder to improve their quality of life
  • Assist in health and hygiene routines such as toileting, diaper changes, toothbrushing, handwashing, etc. Requirements
  • Previous experience or education in behavioral therapy or special education is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder
  • Proficiency in data collection related to client progress
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
  • Willingness to learn and apply new therapeutic techniques as directed by BCBAs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to play with and keep up with active children, including being able to move quickly throughout the work environment.
