Production Manager or Engineering/Operations Leadership Position Summary The Production Technician - TSC Systems & Electrical Assembly is responsible for the assembly, programming, testing, inspection, and packaging of TSC control systems and related electrical equipment used in sports facility equipment. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring systems are properly assembled, programmed, inspected for quality, and prepared for shipment. The technician also assists with custom hoist assembly, electrical control boxes, mat hoists, and other specialty systems while collaborating with engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities TSC Systems Assembly & Quality Control
TSC1500 / 1500-RB / 1500-KP
Perform quality checks for functionality, assembly, and packaging. Test system functionality by powering units and verifying all programming functions. Inspect assembly to ensure components are properly installed and programmed. Verify that relay panels and keypads include programming verification stickers.
Confirm packaging includes:
TSC1500-KP
Legend TSC-MC Manuals Secure all components inside the relay panel and shipping box.
TSC1500XL / XL-RB
Inspect panels for proper assembly, including wiring and terminal labeling.
Confirm required components are included:
TSC-MC with master panel RJ-45 connectors with secondary node panels. Program and test systems by downloading program files to the touchscreen and confirming alignment with the Device Assignment Sheet. Print and apply labels for inside and outside of panels. Prepare and box systems for shipment.
TSC1500XL
WiFi / XL-RB Inspect panel assembly including wiring, terminal labels, and panel labels.
Confirm installation of:
Five-port switch TSC-MC in the master panel RJ-45 connectors for secondary nodes. Program and wire router to the master panel. Drill opening for touchscreen installation in the cover lid. Download system programs to touchscreen and verify operation. Test WiFi connectivity and system operation using the Vijeo-Design Air App . Print panel labels and prepare units for shipment. Custom Hoist Assembly Provide support and scheduling assistance for hoist assembly operations. Answer assembly and wiring questions for production staff. Inspect and test all custom hoists before shipment. Assist in sourcing motors for overseas projects. Collaborate with engineering on custom hoist solutions. Build shipping skids for completed assemblies. Skymaster ENA Assembly Prepare pick lists for required hardware and assembly components. Inspect manufactured parts for fitment and return to production for correction if needed. Supervise assembly, perform system assembly, and conduct testing. Electrical Controls & Specialty Systems Pro-Electric Controls for Actuators Inventory all parts for job orders prior to assembly. Set up production staff for control box assembly. Inspect finished control boxes prior to shipment. Southern Cross Plug-and-Play Curtains Provide assembly drawings and production schedules. Verify test results prior to shipment. Additional Systems (Occasional Builds) 2136-DC control boxes for LED lighting. Bleacher interlock systems. Provide assembly and wiring instructions as needed. Mat Hoist Systems Wire and test all motorized mat hoist systems. Ensure proper operation and safety prior to shipment. Qualifications Ability to read measurements using a tape measure and test electrical systems with a voltmeter. Basic electrical knowledge required. Electrical assembly experience preferred. Ability to use common hand tools including: Battery-powered drills Saws (occasionally). Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs or more . Ability to stand, bend, and work in a production environment. Ability to safely operate tools and equipment used in assembly.
