Grateful Care ABA is seeking motivated, compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) Trainees in Terre Haute, IN who are looking to start a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role is designed as a fast-track pathway to becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing hands-on experience, structured training, and ongoing support while working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). BT Trainee Program Overview:
From day one, you are on a structured path toward RBT certification: Weeks 1-2: Complete training modules in the morning and work hands-on with clients in the afternoon Weeks 3-5: Continue building clinical skills while preparing for your competency assessment and RBT exam
Certification:
Complete your RBT competency assessment and exam (first attempt covered by us)
Credentialing:
Begin credentialing with insurance providers (timeline varies by funder)
Growth:
As you become credentialed, you will take on additional clients
Advancement:
Transition into a full RBT role with increased compensation once fully credentialed
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with ASD under BCBA supervision Implement treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies Collect and record data on client progress (training provided on systems) Participate in supervision sessions, team meetings, and ongoing training Communicate effectively with supervisors and caregivers
Qualifications and Skills:
Interest in working with children and pursuing a career in ABA Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn quickly in a structured training environment Willingness to complete RBT certification within program timeline Must pass background check
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
